What We Offer
Skill Development: Volunteers will engage in a variety of practical gardening and DIY tasks, including plant cultivation and grounds maintenance. This hands-on experience is perfect for those looking to develop or enhance their skills in a real-world setting.
Social Interaction: Participants will enjoy gentle exercise while socializing with fellow volunteers and community members in a safe, outdoor environment.
Empowering Others: A key aspect of this program is the opportunity to support and empower our regular disabled adult students who attend the gardening club. Volunteers will work alongside them, offering assistance and fostering a sense of community.
Real-World Experience: The sessions provide valuable work experience in a functioning plant nursery, community orchard, and garden, giving volunteers a taste of what it’s like to work in these environments.
