During these difficult times of social isolation lots of people are looking to their own gardens to find peace, tranquility and occupation. Roots to fruit has decided to release this FREE online non accredited course on how to prepare the ground for seed sowing and planting.
If you are struggling to know where to start and what to do next to get your garden project on the way this is a great starter foundation course to help you to gain the skills and knowledge needed to clear and prepare the ground for planting or seed sowing. General Gardening Thursday Evening Classes Spring Summer 2020 Postponed
The course will run for one evening per month in April, May, June and July. This is a leisure gardening course (no qualifications are available through this method of attendance) delivered in an informal and adult setting. Practical skills will be blended with knowledge and theory work. Tea / coffee will be available as part of the price. Start time will be 7pm till 9pm at Oakdene Nurseries – 51 Chester Rd Streetly, Sutton Coldfield West Midlands B742HH. Cost of all 4 sessions when paid for in advance will be £60.00, cost for purchasing just one session will be 25.00. The hanging baskets and tubs session payment is used to buy initial costs of the plants and materials used to make a tub and a basket, any extra materials/plants used will need to be purchased on the day. Booking is essential.

Cost of all 4 sessions when paid in advance will be £65.00 cost, for purchasing just one session will be £25.00. Price includes materials, including a scale ruler that learners can keep.

Master Gardening Classes Spring and Summer 2017
Informal Gardening Workshops Planned for Saturday Afternoons and Week Day Evenings.
Classes to be held at our training centre in Oakdene Nurseries – 51 Chester Rd Streetly Sutton Coldfield B74 2HH
These workshops will suit complete beginners as well as experienced gardeners. Learn top gardening tips form a multi award winning gardener and horticultural lecturer Jonathan Ensell. Jonathan will dig the dirt on a range of practical gardening themes. Book a one off session or as many sessions as you wish.
The first one will be on Saturday May the 6th This will be a free workshop on how to plant summer hanging baskets (you will need to pay for any materials or plants you use). You can bring your own baskets or we can provide them for you. The session starts at 2pm
